Obituary For Carl Hill

Carl Hill was born August 3, 1962 in Chicago Illinois to Juanita and Marion Hill, both of whom preceded him in death. On Friday November 22nd 2024 the Lord in his infinite wisdom called him to external rest.

Carl married the love of his life, Adrienne, on August 25, 1991, and together they raised three daughters.

A proud graduate of Chicago Public Schools, Carl attended Farragut High School and went on to earn his degree from Olivet Nazarene University and finally went on to obtain a master’s degree in Educational leadership

After college, he dedicated his career to teaching and coaching for the Chicago Public Schools, where he touched the lives of countless children. His passion for education and his love for coaching made a profound impact on the lives of many, and his students and players will remember him for his encouragement, wisdom, and unwavering support in the classroom and beyond.

Carl was a man of faith; he accepted Jesus Christ at a young age, and his commitment to his faith guided him throughout his life. He loved life, cherished his family, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

To my loving and caring brother. You always cared so much for me and inspired me daily with positive words. You helped me when I was going to college and told me, you can do it and I did with your constantly cheering me on. Without God and you I would have not made it this far. You always told me to speak positive wording no matter what I see. Your love for your family and people will carry on forever. My intelligent "smart" brother. Doctor/Professor Mr. Carl Hill. 😊

A Coach, A Mentor and A Man of God Carl Hill you will be missed. One of the best memories I have always held on to even as an adult was track season. You knew I was great and had all of the potential. During practice I would get so tired but you continued to push me. When I wanted to sit down and catch my breath you would tell me there's no air down there. You put me in front of Whitney Young Coach and I showed out. Let's not talk about volleyball season when all I wanted to do was underhand serve and you encouraged me to spike the ball. You will always be remembered for the amazing talents you brought out of your students.

Carl was an amazingly happy friend, and lived life with the enthusiasm of a child, one who could never sit still. He's know for his faith in God, his love for his family, and love for his friends. I had the privilege of meeting Carl at Farragut High School. We were Co-captains on the football team, and as fellow linebacker on the football team. There wasn't anything Carl couldn't do. Carl and I were passionate about our faith in Christ so much that we wanted to attend a Christian college together, so we both attended and graduated from Olivet Nazarene University. Once Carl became your friend he was your friend for life. Even though we didn't talk everyday, when we did it was if we never skipped a beat. I will greatly miss Carl, his love for Christ, family, his tireless energy, and his contagious smile. Rest well my Brother🙏🏾
