Wow!! It was just a few months ago we got an opportunity to chat on zoom when I was in Chicago, and now to be leaving words of condolences breaks my heart. I've just always called her "Ma" because thats what it felt like when your in her presence you know that loving spirit. For a life well served you've earned your rest and wings.

Jewel was a beautiful person and she was always straight forward with you 😂 I love when she would barbecue and when she would have a hot pancake breakfast on Saturday for r me and Angie. She will be miss by all who love her.We all look forward when Jehovah fulfilled his promise at Revelation 21:3-4 And he will wipe out death and the former things have passed away.My prayers are with you at this time.Gloria and Jamar❤️

Mrs. Jewel was a gem in every sense of the word. A polished one at that. I am definitely going to miss that smile from the pictures. She has always treated me as one of her girls. Thank you Queen, for your friendship, love and sister-daughters. Pam, Cheryl and the rest, thank you for the time you allowed us to share with your mom. My love condolences to all. Ms Jewel was indeed a Jewel. I always called her Ma. . From the first time her daughter and my best friend introduced us she always made me feel like I was one of the family. Thank you Ma for a lifetime of memories and the wonderful moments we've shared over these many years. I love you much and you will be missed so much. Rest well. ❣️❣️❣️
