Obituary For Kiana J Walker
Kiana J. Walker affectionately known as βKe Keβ was born October 20, 1981 to her parents, Leslie Walker and Scott Glass. She lived and attended school in Champaign, IL. As she grew up, she loved and cherished taking care of her younger sister, Shemeka . In addition, Kiana always enjoyed traveling to Gibson City, IL to spend time with her Grandma Walker and Aunt Cass. Also, she would spend her summers in the Chicago area with her Dad, Big Daddy, Big Mama, younger brothers (Anthony and Joseff), cousins and friends. She graduated from Centralia High School in 2000. After High School, she attended and completed Olive Harveyβs - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program. On July 1, 2004, Kiana married Howard Webster. Kiana and Howard were blessed with four daughters: Haniyah, Harmoni, Hyianah, and Hakiyah. As a working Mom, Kiana was an employee at Italian Fiesta Pizzeria for 17 years to provide for her children and household.
Kiana lived her life with a profound faith in Christ, and it was this faith that sustained her through life's trials and triumphs. She found solace in prayer, strength in scripture, and hope in the promise of salvation. Her unwavering belief in the love and mercy of our Savior served as a beacon of light, guiding her through even the darkest of days.
Kiana's most defining characteristic was her joy of being a mother. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to nurturing and shaping her daughters into kind, humble, and beautiful young ladies. Her love knew no bounds, and her presence brought warmth and comfort to her children's lives. She embraced the joys and complexity of motherhood with grace and resilience.
As an aunt, caretaker and friend, Kiana always offered a listening ear, a helping hand, and provided unwavering support. She never hesitated to be there for those in need. Her compassion and empathy knew no bounds, and her presence brought comfort to many during difficult times.
Kiana possessed a warmth and sociability that drew people to her. She found great joy in connecting with friends and family, engaging in lively conversations, and creating lasting memories together. Her laughter and genuine interest in others made every gathering brighter and more memorable.
Though Kiana's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched. Let us honor her memory by carrying forward the values of love, kindness, joy, and compassion that she so beautifully exemplified.
