    McKinley (Mac) Brown

    Merlin was always Butch in my endless memories of our friendship. On this side of life he was the focus of the party and the vibrant thread that fortified us all. His laughter and loyalty to friends from our high school days and for years beyond will be remembered and cherished. He's scoring with that corner jump shot for the good guys now. RIP.

    Clarence Collins

    Merlin or Butch as his friends called him was someone who you immediately liked. His down to earth and pleasant demeanor made you want to know him and be his friend. Even though over years we have drifted apart I will always consider him a good friend. RIP Butch
