Obituary For Willie Eugene Hardy

Willie Eugene Hardy (Gene) was born on July 10, 1935 to the late Willie Hardy and Merl Coleman in Canton, Mississippi. Gene was educated in the Canton Public Schools; after completing his education, he enlisted in the army, where he was able to travel all over the world. After being discharged, he came to Chicago, where he worked hard at numerous jobs (steel mill, construction) until he started with the CTA, where he worked until his retirement.
